
The landslide has damaged the suspension bridge over the Duyu River at Lokpa of Chumchet in Chumanuvri Gaonpalika-6, Gorkha.
Ward Chairman Lopsang Lama said that the bridge was damaged by the landslide that fell from above on Tuesday night. As soon as the bridge collapses, the mule has stopped. "All the mules carrying food have been stopped at the bridge," said Ward Chairman Lama. "Even the people have not been able to come."
He informed that preparations are being made to build a temporary road to accommodate mules and people. He said that there was a problem in coming to Chumchet Chhekampar after the bridge collapsed. An organization called Kaduri had built the suspension bridge nine years ago at a cost of Rs 4 million.
